Meet the Hosts
Rob Baughman
Rob is the co-host of Deuces are Mild. Unlike Ali, he doesn’t do much of anything. Because he prefers to achieve perfection in all endeavors, most attempted hobbies are abandoned pretty quickly. While he also performed burlesque pre-pandemic, his only preferred activities are the unrevealing trifecta of “playing video games, watching bad movies, and reading”. To address other expected traits about white, bearded, vaguely-millenial men: He does have tattoos, he prefers sours and hates IPAs, he wears flannel, he can change a tire, he has studied philosophy, he has had an undercut, and his wallet is not on a chain.
Ali Baughman
Ali is the host and lead producer of Deuces are Mild. Ali is a self-described Jill of all Trades. She tends to collect hobbies and skills like some collect stamps. Some of those hobbies include watercolor painting, gardening, resin jewelry making, and a whole slew of others that lived and died in the space of a month. In the pre-pandemic times, Ali could be found on stage performing burlesque numbers, Drag King lipsyncs, and hosting live events. Now, after founding Opus Nox Media, she is hitting her stride as “the bossy one.”
